Here's a composite work of art done on a very common
base: wood. Bits and pieces of dry banana leaves, sisal fibres and chalk
dust are glued together and the work finished in sketches and paint. The
result is a feature resembling a legendary African drummer, who no longer
practices his unique rhythms.
