Challenge an opponent, or yourself, on these chess boards made from soapstone mined in the Kisii District of Kenya. Soapstone is a naturally occurring rock in that area and its soft characteristics make it ideal for carved items. This pink colored soapstone is unique to Kisii where its the only source globally.
The chess boards are available in three sizes, as stated above, and each comes with a complete set of traditional chess pieces. Please indicate your preference while ordering.
