TEMAK Crafts is a creative, dynamic, informative, and educative project. It is aimed at enhancing self-reliance among the teenage girls at TEMAK.

It helps them realize self-reliance and transformation through encouraging them to participate in community development projects.

We use Craft as a tool geared towards liberating the girls at TEMAK from their current state and status in the society, thus improving their living standards. These are job skills that will foster self-reliance.

How do the funds raised help the girls?

  • Sales of crafts has reshaped their life styles and future as can be seen in various testimonies.
  • Has helped them focus on living rather than dying.
  • Infected girls can go public as far as their status is concerned. This has brought a decrease in infections through better awareness.
  • Can advocate war on HIV/ Aids to teenage mother and the vulnerable under aged girl child.
All of the arts and crafts are sold in order to give:
  • Teenage mothers economic empowerment
  • Child prostitutes alternative better life options

  • House maids vocational skills

  • Adolescent girls or mothers living with HIV hope

  • AIDS widows a better, healthier, and happier life

  • Orphans children an education
A $1 bookmark could feed an orphan, and enhance your library.

TEMAK's retail centers offer a variety of handmade crafts ranging from Beaded Jewelry, Clothing and Textile, Soapstone, Household Items, Hyacinth and Sisal Items, Toys and Much More. Wholesale opportunities exist for interested business people.
