I joined TEMAK Ministries after I was offered a chance to train as a hairdresser by the director. I was very grateful and thankful to God for this.

At TEMAK, I found several other girls who were also training in various careers, that is, computers, tailoring, dressmaking, beauty and hairdressing. I joined the beauty and hairdressing class where we were taught salon management, how to treat clients, hair care, braiding, plaiting, weaving and hair relaxing. It took me nine months to complete the course. Soon afterwards, I was hired at a beauty salon in Kisumu.

I can now manage to work with no problems and I can also deal with and treat clients honestly to produce different desirable hair styles.

We had other lessons at TEMAK in music and Bible study. Morning devotion takes place each weekday morning before classes and there's a time to fellowship every Wednesday afternoon. This has made me spiritually nourished and completely changed my way of life.

I now understand that I live for Jesus and I can proclaim His love before men. For this, I thank God for changing my entire lifestyle through the teachings and encouragement I acquired at TEMAK.
