Getting an opportunity to train in computers at TEMAK was like a dream come true. Having completed my K. C. S. E. (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education), I just stayed at home for a whole boring year, having nothing to do. I had longed to train in computers but my parents couldn’t afford to pay the fees because they first wanted to educate my siblings in secondary school. In our community, girls are not valued as much as boys when it comes to education and so my case of ever joining a college was never considered. Little did I know that I would one day come to TEMAK to acquire computer knowledge and also as a sponsored student. I can now look forward to getting employment and therefore save money for further studies to attain my goal of becoming a nurse.

All I can say is that I thank God for this place (TEMAK) and may God bless their work.
