The TEMAK clinic is treating skin infections that are a common problem among people living with HIV:

“ I as the clinic nurse here , I meet people from the surrounding slums of TEMAK and most of them are poor and are living with the HIV/AIDS virus. As a nurse, I treat them and also do follow ups with the home based care team. As a concern I have realized that many are dying because they lack the drugs that can boost their immune system. The ‘City of Hope’ clinic will therefore expand to treating common ailments found in slums, malnutritive disorders, malaria and typhoid and also create awareness campaigns on nutrition, HIV/AIDS, malaria prevention and better sanitation. This will cater for a large number of patients out there. We cure but, God heals”
