At TEMAK we believe in helping girls pick up the pieces and move on.

Listen to Caroline’s story:

“ I was the last born in a family of seven. My mum was dumb and deaf. She could not fetch for all of us and this exposed us to a very vulnerable life. I did my K.C.P.E. and passed so well ,unfortunately I conceived so I could not continue. In 2004 my mother passed away and my elder sister stepped in as a mother. June 2004, I gave birth to my baby girl and named her after my mum. Unfortunately my sister too passed away the same year. My life crumbled. I had a baby and no one to take care of me. I was tempted to dump the baby, but God spoke to me. About that time a friend to my auntie told me about TEMAK. I joined TEMAK year 2005. Oh! What a wonderful place. I have learnt many things including that God still cares especially during our morning teachings at TEMAK. I can now make cards to sell and make a little money. I am now back to school where TEMAK helps to meet my needs including paying my fees. My sister who is a widow takes care of my baby. My dream is to be a lawyer. Your help is always needed to help this kind of girl.”
