THANKS TO TEMAK
“I would like to give my greatest thanks to TEMAK together with all the staff and to let than know that I appreciate them. I can now be recognized as a person in the community and I get respect from the community elders. I don’t know how to thank Mama Philomena with her daily encouraging words during the morning glory. TEMAK has made my future bright with my goals met as I always dreamt. They have made a passage for me for good life and I’m very happy. I encourage my fellow disadvantaged girls not to give up in life but trust in God. “Put God first in everything”. May the Almighty bless you all at TEMAK as you continue to help disadvantaged girls in our community
(Perez Aluoch - Old student at TEMAK)

TEMAK GIVES HOPE
TEMAK is a very good place for it has raised my spirit. TEMAK received me when I was hopeless with no one to look upon as an orphan. Since then, I have never regretted because of the help I have received together with my son. TEMAK has provided medication to both of us, food and clothing. Actually I have a reason to say it has given me hope.

TEMAK has offered me a course in dressmaking. The institution has spiritually brought me up by having Christian programmes and made me socialize with others through games and group discussions. I had a weakness in expressing myself because of my educational background, but TEMAK has taught me languages and now I can express myself without fear and I don’t feel inferior anymore.

Thanks TEMAK for the love towards my child and myself. You’ve made me important to the world and my community. I have every reason to call you A CITY OF HOPE.

TEMAK: A PLACE I WANT TO BE DAY AND NIGHT
I was once in the outside world just hopeless with life. I had no job and so I was idling day in and out after high school. I was hoping and praying for a financial break-through for further studies but no door was opening they had closed from all directions. As much as I had lost hope, I forcefully pushed myself into prayers.

At times, I would do odd jobs in town but I was not receiving any payment, no fare, no lunch. This was very frustrating and stressful and I became more hopeless. A got convinced that I was facing this kind of life because of little education. Suddenly I started longing for a course to get skills that could qualify me for a better paying job.

When l was just about to give up, my long prayers seemed to have been answered. A good friend told me about TEMAK. I was eager to listen because it was a story full of hope and that’s what I needed. At first, I thought it was a dream, little did I know it was for real. I was overjoyed and immediately asked where I could find TEMAK.
Through God’s favor, I was admitted at TEMAK and currently doing a course in computers. This brought me a lot of peace and joy within me. Indeed it marked a true turning point. TEMAK has not only trained me in computers but has lifted me spiritually through the morning devotion that we usually weekday.

Long Live TEMAK! May the Almighty bless you in order to give more hope to the many who are hopeless in this country, that they may experience the loving nature and hope that you give to those who need it
(JUDE - Computer student)

A CITY OF HOPE TO THE COMMUNITY
“I am very grateful for the work TEMAK is doing in this town. This is a community where poverty levels are high. Orphans drop out of school due to lack of school fees. TEMAK is supporting many orphans in the community, paying school fees for girls to keep them in schools and also training many girls in my community on different skills.

I have hope for this community now and I know in a short while, this community will change for the better since many women an being empowered and children going to school. I will continue supporting their work by sensitizing the community on what TEMAK is doing”
