TESTIMONIES:
The impact on the conference gave birth to testimonies and gratitude. Mr. Othatcher moderated this session as he ushered in any one who wanted to testify. By the look on everyone’s face they seemed to have a testimony each but time was not on our side. A few people got the opportunity and Christine Mbai was the first to testify. She said, ” I want to appreciate the presence of the visitors because I have really learned a lot. I appreciate the spiritual gifts that have been shared and all I can say is that I am not the same again.” (Computer student) “First I want to thank God for this opportunity to stand here before you. I am very grateful to our visitors. They have really worked hard to teach the children, they have loved them and were also kind to them. I wish that they would come again to be with us here at TEMAK”.Miss. Olga Achieng ( TEMAK Nursery Teacher) “ I am very grateful to all of you for you kindness. It was fun being here and all I can say is that I love you all” Sarah Webb. “I thank all of you. Working with the kids and the girls was great. I have had a lot of fun.” Thomas Hergenrader. “ I thank you for your hospitality. You really know how to welcome and treat visitors. It was much fun and exciting to be at TEMAK.” Kedal Gadd “It was good to be here. I have been in Africa twice so this is my second time to be here. I appreciate the girls for talking and listening to us and also making us feel welcomed” Mr. Jake Iueders “I discovered that I am a spoilt brut because I have been spending a lot on things that I don’t need. I have seen that in every country God is the same and everyone here has been wonderful. We’ll see you in heaven.” Bonnie Riviera “ I have learned a lesson among you to be humble and I have also learned how to cook. I appreciate your gift of service. It was a blessing to me. I encourage the teenage mothers here like me to be strong. I would like to come back again”. Kate Buccigross “ I am happy to be here for a mission trip. I appreciate how hardworking you are here in TEMAK.” Ricky Eldridge “ I appreciate Miss Olga, the nursery teacher for her patience. No teacher would allow anyone to interfere with their classes as we did. For sure she has a heart of gold. I also appreciate Moses the driver and everyone else.” Mrs. Bethany Iueders “This is my first time out of U.S.A. and I have learned a lot. Evidently, it is the same God and the same faith that we both share. The same things that God does in our lives are also done here in TEMAK. We from the Pacific Island Bible Church will come again.” Elder Dean Gadd “ I am grateful to everyone. I thank God for the girls because they have been good, obedient, loving and also for their efforts in cooking. I appreciate the company of the visitors and I also thank God for the food. All that God has started, he will accomplish and it was wonderful to meet people from different races and to fellowship with them. The teachings from Dean Gadd were good and the same word is preached everywhere. Just build on Jesus as the rock of your life and salvation.” Mrs. Philomena Mashaka
