Wedding of an old TEMAK girl
Five years ago Merine was a young mother learning the ropes of child-rearing. She joined TEMAK where her Christian faith grew, providing the guidance that led her to a Day of Matrimony

On 7th August 2004, Merine embarked on a new, exciting and anxious chapter of her life. She became wife to Mr. Bruno Ambani. The two have decided they are ready for the joys, responsibilities, fears, love and hard work that must surely accompany any married couple,

We wish the newly weds marital bliss and a rewarding future.

Women’s seminar at the KPC
In November 2004, the Kisumu Pentecostal Church was host to a national women’s conference titled, “Arise & Posses the Land.” All of TEMAK girls were invited to the conference attended by hundreds of Kenyan women from all stations in life.

During the conference, women were encouraged to take up responsibilities in society, not to cower before intimidation and to demand their rights as individuals created in God’s image.

TEMAK girls assisted in preparations for the conference among other logistical duties.
