Mrs. Philomena has been ministering to prisoner teenage girls, trying to encourage them in the Lord. Here is a story of one of the prisoners:

“ I have been living in hardships in my family and had no peace at all. Later, I met a boy who later became my friend. He made me become pregnant and this later made life to be very difficult at home . People at home were very harsh to me because they saw me to be a burden to them. My boyfriend later dumped me and never wanted anything to do with me. Later, life was so unbearable, I was very miserable and hopeless. No one really cared about me and I hated my life as well. Then I decided to go and dump the baby ,who was now 1 year old at the door step of his father’s house. That same night it rained heavily and it was raining on the child and he started to cry ,drawing the attention of the neighbours. They picked up the child and took him to the police station and the police came for me. I was put in prison for this offence. Deep in my heart I really regret and feel sorry for what I had done because it was out of anger that I did it . Mrs. Philomena talked to me and revived my hope because when I complete my jail sentence in June, I will come to train in TEMAK and also take care of the baby since I really love my child. I am very sorry for what I did. I thank God for bringing Mrs. Philomena to talk to me because now there is hope for me and my child and I can say that although nobody cared for me , God cares through the TEMAK ministries."
