Progress of work at The City Of Hope

It's amazing how God has enabled us to accomplish some of the tasks to The City of Hope project. We feel honored by all who have given towards the accomplishments of the following:

The land

The land has been fenced and a gate constructed

A 5.3 acre piece of land has been purchased in Kisumu, Kenya. The land provides ample space to be able to put all the components of the City of Hope complex.

Fencing

Fencing of the whole perimeter has been done using cider poles and Barbed wire and a gate erected.

The Environment

760 trees have been planted to provide shelter in the future. Planting thorn bush all round the barbed wire to give the fence a natural, beautiful look in the future has also reinforced the fence.

HELP NEEDED TO MATCH FUNDS FOR FIRST BUILDING

The foundation to the nursery, Kindergarten and Abandoned children's home will be constructed by a construction team from the UK from 30th of July 2006.

Workers at the site

The team has only raised UK £8,000 enough only for the foundation and the floor and and wish to have a matching partner to enable reach the walls and the roof. See City of Hope budget
